European natural gas prices continue to rise, as US President Donald Trump shortened the deadline for Russia to agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine, threatening Russian energy exports, while this coincides with rising temperatures in Asia. European benchmark natural gas futures rose 3.1% on Tuesday, marking the largest single-day increase in over two weeks and the third consecutive rise.
