On the afternoon of July 29th, according to the official website of Shaolin Temple on WeChat public account, in accordance with the "Regulations on the Appointment of Abbots in Han Buddhism Temples", Ven. Yin Le has been appointed as the abbot of Shaolin Temple after approval by the democratic evaluation of the two levels of the people at Shaolin Temple and following relevant procedures. After the announcement, the relevant staff of Shaolin Temple management office introduced to First Financial journalist that Ven. Yin Le has already arrived at Shaolin Temple and further announcements will be made continuously. Public information shows that Ven. Yin Le, who previously served as the abbot of White Horse Temple, was born in Tongbai, Henan in July 1966. He ordained under the guidance of Ven. Li Hai Bo at Tongbai Mountain in 1982. On the morning of July 29th, the staff of Shaolin Temple management office mentioned to First Financial journalist: "Currently, everything is operating normally at Shaolin Temple and relevant issues are being further investigated, the results will be promptly announced to the public."
