The Chinese delegation to the 2021 World University Games in Chengdu has set a record in size, and for the first time, has sent disabled athletes.

The Chinese sports delegation for the 12th World Games in Chengdu was established in Beijing on the 29th. The delegation consists of 489 people, including 321 athletes, who will participate in 28 main events and 152 sub-events. This is the largest ever delegation from China to participate in the World Games, with the most events, and also the first time that disabled athletes have been selected to compete from China.
