Harbin Engineering University co-hosts the 34th International Fluid Dynamics Discrete Simulation Conference.
The 34th International Conference on Fluid Dynamics Discrete Simulation was recently held in Harbin. More than 150 experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from over 10 countries, including Italy and Brazil, gathered to discuss core topics in discrete simulation technology. The conference aimed at advancing theoretical algorithms for lattice Boltzmann methods and other discrete numerical methods, developing lattice Boltzmann industrial software, and exploring applications in various fields through in-depth discussions and exchanges. The conference featured keynote speeches, special sessions on lattice Boltzmann methods industrial software, and award presentations. Experts and scholars from around the world presented on topics such as turbulence modeling based on kinetic theory, lattice Boltzmann porous media multiphase multicomponent flow, smoothed particle hydrodynamics theory algorithms and applications in ocean engineering, and gas dynamics theoretical modeling. They also discussed advancements in industrial software development in the field of lattice Boltzmann and discrete particle methods, as well as applications in industries such as automotive, aviation, low-altitude economy, ships, and casting.
