Former standing committee member of the Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and former deputy mayor of the municipal government, Hong Ziqiang, is under investigation.

According to the Discipline Inspection Commission of Fujian Province, Hong Ziqiang, former member of the Quanzhou Municipal Committee and former deputy mayor of the municipal government, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Discipline Inspection Commission of Fujian Province.
