The Beijing Future Science City Management Committee has formulated the "Changping District Implementation Plan for the Development of the 'Artificial Intelligence + Medicine and Health' Industry" and is now seeking public opinions. It mentions empowering innovation in the field of brain-computer interfaces and promoting the research and application of brain-computer interface products. Focusing on key aspects such as neural signal acquisition, decoding, control, and feedback in brain-computer interfaces, support will be provided for the research and development of new flexible neural electrodes, signal acquisition chips, sensors, batteries, and other core components required for brain-computer interface systems. This will accelerate the development of high-end electroencephalographic monitoring devices, ultra-high field magnetic resonance imaging devices, brain magnetic field devices, closed-loop neural stimulation and control devices, and other core instruments. Medical and healthcare institutions in the region are encouraged to take the lead in the clinical application of brain-computer interface products in the fields of diagnosis and treatment of neurological and psychiatric diseases, diagnosis and treatment of drug and digital addiction diseases, intelligent rehabilitation, and health monitoring.
