Due to rain, the Beijing-Baotou passenger special train is temporarily suspended today. Some trains are running on detours.
According to the news from the Hohhot Railway Bureau of China Railway, due to the impact of continuous heavy rainfall in Beijing, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, and other areas, as well as the flood discharge from upstream reservoirs, in order to ensure the safe operation of trains without any problems, high-speed trains and EMU trains on the Beijing-Baotou passenger dedicated line will be temporarily suspended as a precaution today. At the same time, in response to the travel needs of passengers between Beijing and Inner Mongolia, the railway department will take detour measures and plan to operate 4 pairs of "Fuxing" high-speed trains between Hohhot East and Beijing North, and Baotou and Beijing North, passing through Ulanqab Station via the Jida Yuan-Zhangda high-speed railway, detouring from Datong South Station, and finally arriving at Beijing North Station. Travelers are reminded to understand relevant information in advance.
