Iraq's temperature is off the charts, with the highest temperature in over two-thirds of the provinces exceeding 50.

According to the Iraqi Meteorological Department, on July 28th local time, the highest temperature in 13 of the 18 provinces in Iraq exceeded 50 degrees Celsius. Recently, due to the continuous high temperatures, several provinces in Iraq have announced the suspension of government office work or shortened working hours.
