Brain-computer interface connecting to sleep interventions, accelerating the opening of the trillion-dollar sleep economy market.

On July 27, 2025, the Sleep Neuroregulation Medical Symposium and Dream Brain-Machine Interface Innovative Product Launch was held in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macau Deep Cooperation Zone. The symposium, with the theme of the intersection of brain-machine interfaces and sleep science, discussed the feasible path of transitioning from traditional symptom management and experiential interventions to personalized proactive health management based on real-time perception of neural activity and precise control, providing new research ideas for the deep integration of brain-machine interface technology and sleep science. It was reported that promoting the transition of sleep neuroregulation from basic to clinical, and from common to universal, is of great significance for the advancement of neuroscience and the interdisciplinary development of medical engineering. However, there are still many bottlenecks to be overcome in the transformation of this field.
