On July 28, 2025, at 11:08 AM, the Shanxi Meteorological Observatory issued a blue alert for thunderstorms and strong winds. The warning area includes Datong, Shuozhou, Xinzhou, Lvliang, and Taiyuan. It is expected that in the next 6 hours, there will be strong thunderstorms and strong winds in the warning area, with gusts of wind reaching level 7 or above, as well as intense lightning, short-duration heavy rainfall, or hail, and other severe convective weather.
