German police reported on the evening of the 27th that a train derailed in the southern state of Baden-Wrttemberg that day, resulting in 3 deaths and several passengers seriously injured. The police said that around 6 p.m. that afternoon, a passenger train traveling from the city of Sigmaringen to Ulm suddenly derailed two carriages during the journey. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
