Reporters learned from the Ministry of Natural Resources that due to the influence of a low pressure system in the East China Sea, a large to giant wave process is expected to occur from July 28th to 29th. The sea conditions in the coastal areas of Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Zhejiang will be poor, and the National Marine Forecasting Center has issued a blue alert for waves this afternoon. Due to the influence of the low pressure system in the East China Sea, it is expected that from the night of July 27th to the day of July 28th, there will be large to giant waves of 3 to 5 meters in the southern part of the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea. In the southern part of Jiangsu, Shanghai, and the northern part of Zhejiang, there will be medium to large waves of 2 to 3.4 meters, with the wave warning level in the coastal areas being blue. Please pay attention to safety for ships operating in the above-mentioned sea areas, and relevant coastal units should take precautionary measures against waves in advance.
