On July 26, local time, the Sudan Rapid Support Forces and their allied political forces announced the formation of a "parallel government". This "parallel government" includes a presidential committee and a cabinet, with the presidential committee composed of 15 members, led by the leader of the Rapid Support Forces, Dagalo, as chairman, and the leader of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (Hilu faction) as vice chairman. The Prime Minister of the cabinet is Mohammed Hassan Taj. The government is located in the capital of South Darfur State, Nyala.
