The Ministry of Water Resources held a rolling consultation to assess the national rainfall situation. From 8:00 on July 25 to 8:00 on July 26, due to the influence of rainfall, 13 rivers in Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang and other provinces experienced floods exceeding the warning level. The maximum exceeding the warning level was 1.44 meters. Among them, four rivers in Inner Mongolia, such as Xiaohei River and Shuimogou, as well as the main stream and tributaries of Beiluo River in Shaanxi and Luanshitou River, experienced floods exceeding the protection level. Shuimogou, a tributary of Dahei River in Inner Mongolia, and Xingzi River, a tributary of Yanhe River in Shaanxi, experienced the largest floods since actual measurements. Two water level stations in Hangjia Lake District and 13 tide level stations in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Fujian exceeded the warning level by 0.03 to 0.35 meters. At the same time, due to the impact of upstream inflow, the flow rate in the Alar to Xin Qu full river section of the main stream of the Tarim River in Xinjiang exceeded the protection level. The Ministry of Water Resources issued targeted warnings to Beijing, Hebei and 11 other provinces, reminding them to do a good job in flood control and mountain flood disaster prevention in small and medium-sized rivers, as well as ensure the safety of reservoirs and sedimentation dams during the flood season. Currently, the Ministry of Water Resources has maintained a level IV emergency response for flood defense in 6 provinces and regions including Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Fujian and Shaanxi. Twelve working groups are on the front line in Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, and Shaanxi to assist in guiding the work of flood prevention during heavy rainfall and floods.
