According to Wind statistics, the total size of the first batch of 10 Sci-Tech bond ETFs exceeded 100 billion yuan on the fifth trading day after listing; on July 24th, the size of this type of ETF continued to grow, reaching 101.086 billion yuan. Currently, with the assistance of innovative products, the total size of the entire bond ETF market has exceeded 500 billion yuan. Interviewees pointed out to reporters that the outbreak of Sci-Tech bond ETFs and benchmark market-making credit bond ETFs reflects institutions' urgent need for transparent, low-cost, and highly liquid allocation tools, signaling a golden period for bond index investment. However, it is important to note that rapid growth in size may conceal risks, and attention should be paid to trading congestion and the premium/discount valuation indicators of ETFs.
