Intel CEO discusses reform of wafer foundry business: may retain advanced 18A process technology for internal use

As part of the reform of the wafer foundry business, Intel's new CEO Pat Gelsinger stated during the financial results conference call that the company may keep the advanced 18A process technology for internal use and only proceed with the 14A process when there are commitments from major external partners.
