European Central Bank schedule confirms Lagarde once met with Schwaab to discuss early departure

The official schedule released by the European Central Bank confirms that President Lagarde did meet with the founder of the World Economic Forum, Schwab, in April, and Schwab himself stated that the focus of the meeting was on Lagarde's early resignation. According to the schedule released by the European Central Bank on Friday, Lagarde met with Schwab, who was then the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Economic Forum, on April 14th. Schwab disclosed this information in an interview in May, saying that he had met with Lagarde in Frankfurt and discussed the possibility of Lagarde resigning early from her position at the European Central Bank and taking over as the head of the World Economic Forum. However, according to the official schedule of the European Central Bank, the agenda of the meeting was listed as "latest economic and financial situation."
