The "Guidelines for the Construction of Public Charging Network in Shanghai" have been released, dividing the development of public charging facilities into different zones for regulation. The Municipal Transportation Commission and the Municipal Development and Reform Commission rely on data from the city's charging platform and vehicle platform to evaluate and analyze the supply and demand situation of charging facilities in the city. Combining the development of vehicles and charging stations, the "development zone", "maintenance zone" and "regulation zone" division plan for the construction of public charging network in Shanghai is updated annually. Based on the matching of supply and demand of charging infrastructure, the entire city is divided into "development zones", "maintenance zones" and "regulation zones", providing guidance for the orderly development of public charging facilities in each region. Charging facilities built in parking lots, battery exchange facilities, and charging facilities built in residential areas are not within the scope of this construction guideline.
