New Princes will acquire Carrefour's Italian business for nearly 1 billion euros in enterprise value.

Italian food and beverage group NewPrinces announced on July 24th that it has agreed to acquire Carrefour's Italian business for nearly 1 billion euros in enterprise value. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of this year. According to the statement, after the acquisition is completed, NewPrinces will become the second largest food and beverage group in Italy in terms of revenue.
