The Beijing Municipal Committee Internet Information Office, together with the Municipal Public Security Bureau, Municipal Market Supervision Administration, Municipal Education Commission, Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission, Municipal Transportation Commission, Municipal Commerce Bureau, Municipal Cultural and Tourism Bureau, Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau, Municipal Sports Bureau, Municipal Gardening and Greening Bureau, Municipal Post Management Bureau and other departments, have further solidified the work mechanism, expanded the industry areas, enriched the governance content, and continued to carry out governance of illegal collection and use of personal information throughout the city. This special governance focuses on activities of collecting and using facial recognition information in public places and activities of collecting and using personal information in offline consumption scenarios. The governance scope mainly involves the following industry areas: transportation, accommodation tourism, education and training, culture and sports, logistics and trade, leisure and entertainment, vending machines, travel and ride-hailing, supermarket payment, residential property management, express delivery, etc.
