Henan province increases retirement pensions for retirees

The Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Henan Province and the Department of Finance of Henan Province have issued a notice, deciding to adjust the basic pension for retirees starting from January 1, 2025. Retirees within the adjustment scope will receive an increase of 27 yuan per person per month, calculated based on the individual's payment years and a certain percentage of the basic pension in December 2024. In addition, elderly retirees who reach the age of 70 will enjoy additional pension benefits. The funds needed for the adjustment will be allocated from the basic pension insurance fund of enterprises or institutions and public institutions. The adjustment work will be completed before July 31, 2025, to ensure that retirees' basic pensions are paid on time and in full.
