Seven suspects involved in bribery and corruption were arrested, with the amount involved exceeding 40 million RMB. The "vice president of a Shanghai internet company mentioned in the police report, referred to as Mr. Han, is actually Han Liu, former logistics manager at Ele.me. The investigation showed that since July 2023, Han and two others conspired to use their authority in managing logistics and determining supplier access, removal, evaluation, and subsidy distribution to help multiple suppliers obtain logistics and delivery business qualifications in dozens of large and medium-sized cities. They then aggressively collected bribes from suppliers such as Mr. Liu, and even demanded a share of profits according to the situation.
