Hebei Province upgrades the emergency response to major meteorological disasters to Level III.

According to the Hebei Provincial Meteorological Disaster Defense Command, Hebei Province has decided to upgrade the emergency response to major meteorological disasters to level III at 6:00 on July 25th. Local units are required to timely initiate or upgrade emergency response to heavy rain disasters according to actual conditions, and to work to defend against and respond to the disasters with full efforts in accordance with the emergency plan. The Hebei Provincial Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange warning signal for heavy rain on July 25th: strong rainfall of heavy rain or above has occurred in the southern part of Chengde, the northern part of Tangshan, and Baoding. It is expected that on the 25th, some areas in the central and southern part of Chengde, Baoding, and the northern part of Langfang will still experience heavy rain, with locally heavy rain. There will be strong convective weather such as thunderstorms, short-term heavy rainfall, and strong winds accompanying the rainfall.
