The short and long-term UK bond yields have both dropped by at least 2 basis points, PMI data indicates that the UK economy is disappointing.
In the closing minutes of the European market on Thursday, the yield on the 10-year UK government bond fell by 1.3 basis points to 4.622%, with a trading range of 4.665% to 4.614% during the day. After hitting a daily high at 21:05 Beijing time, it continued to decline. The yield on the 2-year UK government bond fell by 2.0 basis points to 3.862%. The yield on the 30-year UK government bond fell by 2.2 basis points, and the yield on the 50-year UK government bond fell by 2.6 basis points. The 2/10-year UK government bond yield spread increased by 0.731 basis points to +75.846 basis points.
