A Russian plane lost contact during its second attempt to land.

Today, a Russian Angara Airlines An-24 passenger plane carrying 49 people lost contact in Amur Oblast. According to the Russian Federal Investigative Committee, the plane failed to land at Tinda Airport in Amur Oblast on its first attempt and went missing on its second attempt to land. The Russian Federal Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation.
