In addition, Tesla plans to start construction of its third energy storage super factory near Houston, Texas in 2026. On the same day, Tesla released its latest financial report, showing that its revenue in the second quarter was $22.5 billion, a 12% decrease compared to the same period last year, estimated at $22.64 billion; net profit was $1.172 billion, a 16% decrease compared to last year, with market expectations at $1.136 billion. Adjusted earnings per share in the second quarter were $0.40, down from $0.52 in the same period last year, with an estimated $0.42.
