JPMorgan Chase believes that the forecast that the stablecoin market, which has been frequently mentioned in the process of pushing for the approval of the first cryptocurrency market regulation act in the United States, could grow to $2 trillion is "slightly optimistic." The current market value of all stablecoins is approximately $260 billion. JPMorgan Chase stated, "We find it hard to believe that the market can grow significantly in the next few years, as the infrastructure/ecosystem supporting stablecoins is still far from being developed and requires time to build." Despite the increasing interest in stablecoins in the market recently, they still account for less than 1% of global fund flows, indicating that these digital assets still have a long way to go in disrupting the financial system.
