China Gold Association: China's gold production in the first half of 2025 was 179.083 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.31%.
According to the latest statistical data from the China Gold Association obtained by the Wisdom Financial APP, in the first half of 2025, domestic raw gold production was 179.083 tons, a decrease of 0.551 tons compared to the first half of 2024, a year-on-year decrease of 0.31%, basically unchanged from last year. Among them, gold mining produced 139.413 tons, and by-product gold from non-ferrous metals produced 39.670 tons. In addition, in the first half of 2025, imported raw gold production was 76.678 tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.29%. If this imported raw gold production is added, the total gold produced in the country reached 252.761 tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.44%, unchanged from last year. In the first half of 2025, Chinese large gold groups' overseas mines achieved a gold production of 39.608 tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.17%.
