Pop Mart's CEO Wang Ning responds to "hunger marketing" controversy: increasing production capacity every month
In a special interview on CCTV News, the founder of Pop Mart, Wang Ning, responded to the controversy surrounding "hunger marketing." He said, "Currently, we have to sell 10 million LABUBU figurines every month. We are already doing our best to optimize our supply chain. LABUBU has explosively become a world-class IP, and the demand is indeed exceeding the growth of our entire supply chain." Wang Ning revealed, "Even the sewing machines are smoking, in fact, we are increasing our production capacity every month. This month, the production capacity has doubled compared to last month, and next month, there may be a significant increase. Why can't we increase tenfold instead of just doubling? Because we want strict quality control."
