China Gold Association: China's gold production in the first half of 2025 was 179.083 tons, a decrease of 0.31% compared to the same period last year.
On July 24th, it was learned from the China Gold Association that in the first half of 2025, domestic raw material gold production was 179.083 tons, a decrease of 0.551 tons compared to the first half of 2024, a year-on-year decrease of 0.31%, roughly the same as last year. Among them, gold produced from gold mines was 139.413 tons, and gold produced from non-ferrous by-products was 39.670 tons. In addition, in the first half of 2025, imported raw material gold was 76.678 tons, an increase of 2.29% year-on-year. If this imported raw material gold is added, the total gold production in the country was 252.761 tons, an increase of 0.44% year-on-year, roughly the same as last year.
