Rwandan president appoints new prime minister
Rwandan President Kagame removed Prime Minister Ngirente from office on the 23rd and appointed Justin Nzenguimwama as the new Prime Minister. Nzenguimwama then issued a statement on social media, stating that he will fulfill his duties with humility and dedication, committed to serving the country and achieving national development goals. According to the Rwandan Constitution, with the appointment of the new Prime Minister, the process of forming a new cabinet has also begun, and new cabinet members must be confirmed within 15 days. Nzenguimwama has been serving as Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Rwanda since February of this year.
