The bid yield for the 20-year U.S. Treasury bonds in the continued issue is lower than the trading level before issuance.
The US Treasury Department continued to issue $13 billion of 20-year bonds, with a bid yield of 4.935%. The pre-issue trading level at 1 pm New York time was 4.951%. After the auction, the yield of the bonds slightly fell, but still rose by 3.8 basis points during the day.
