Recently, the Planting Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, together with the National Agricultural Technology Center, held a national training and promotion meeting on strip intercropping in Tongren City, Guizhou Province. They observed demonstration sites, conducted technical training, deployed summer management work, and promoted the deepening and solidification of strip intercropping of soybeans and corn. The meeting emphasized that the development of strip intercropping of soybeans and corn is a key measure to stabilize grain production and increase soybean yields, as well as an inevitable choice to address risks and challenges. Regions should deeply understand the importance of promoting strip intercropping, maintain confidence, actively plan, continue to exert efforts in summer field management, and ensure tangible results are achieved.
