Pop Mart has confirmed this information to Interface News. Interface News had previously reported that some American girls posted short videos on social media claiming they had bought counterfeit "LAFUFU" goods at 7-Eleven convenience stores in the United States. The video shows rows of counterfeit LABUBU dolls on the shelves, each priced at $25 - almost the same as the original price. However, both the packaging and the dolls themselves are poorly made.
