New Light Optoelectronics announced that the company's shareholder, Harbin Institute of Technology Education Development Foundation, with a shareholding of more than 5%, plans to reduce its holdings by no more than 3 million shares, which is not more than 3% of the total share capital of the company. Among them, the reduction of no more than 1 million shares will be carried out through centralized bidding, with a reduction ratio of no more than 1%; the reduction of no more than 2 million shares will be carried out through block trading, with a reduction ratio of no more than 2%. The purpose of this reduction is to support the development of education at Harbin Institute of Technology, and the reduction period is from August 14, 2025 to November 13, 2025. The shares to be reduced are all freely tradable shares acquired through gifts. The Foundation has not reduced its shareholding since its listing.
