The Hong Kong Legislative Council passed the third reading of the amendments to the Legislative Council Powers and Privileges Ordinance.

The Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passed the final reading today to amend the Legislative Council Powers and Privileges Ordinance in order to improve the duties of the legislators and to impose financial penalties on legislators who have been suspended from office for violating the Code of Conduct for Members of the Legislative Council according to the Rules of Procedure.
