Japan initiates anti-dumping investigation on cold-rolled stainless steel coils from China.

On July 22, the Japanese Ministry of Finance announced that it will initiate anti-dumping investigations into cold-rolled stainless steel sheet coils originating from mainland China and Taiwan, based on applications submitted by Nippon Steel Corporation, Japan Metallurgical Industry Corporation, NAS Steel Strip Corporation, and Japan Metal Corporation on May 12, 2025. The products involved in the case have Japanese tariff numbers of 7219.31, 7219.32, 7219.33, 7219.34, 7219.35, 7219.90, 7220.20, and 7220.90.
