The NIFTY 50 index in India has expanded its gains, rising by 0.5% most recently.

The S&P 500 index closed up 0.7% preliminarily, with the healthcare sector up 2%, industrial and energy sectors up at least 1.5%, the technology sector up 0.6%, and the telecom sector up 0.2%. The Nasdaq 100 index rose 0.3% preliminarily, with component stocks Beek Hughes up 11.7%, CoStar up 6.8%, Palantir up 3.6%, and Pinduoduo ADR up 3.1% performing well. "Bitcoin holder" MSTR fell 3.2%, ADI fell 3.5%, Amphenol fell 4.8%, Microchip Technology fell 6.8%, and Texas Instruments fell 13.5%.
