Wang Changlin, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at a press conference on July 23 that after the operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port is officially closed, the National Development and Reform Commission will gradually establish financial policies and systems that are in line with openness and development in coordination with relevant departments, improve the multi-functional free trade account system, expand financial industry opening to both domestic and foreign markets in an orderly manner, and actively explore pilot projects such as cross-border asset management.
