From January 2024 to June 2025, the national procuratorial organs have prosecuted over 10,000 individuals involved in crimes related to the e-commerce sector. Procuratorial investigations have found that the following situations in the field of e-commerce crimes are worth paying attention to: firstly, the persistent sale of counterfeit and inferior goods on e-commerce platforms; secondly, the prominent issue of personal information leakage in the e-commerce sector; and thirdly, the need to be vigilant against fraud committed through live-streaming on e-commerce platforms.
