American healthcare group CHS reaches a $195 million laboratory business sale agreement with Labcorp.

On July 22nd local time, one of the largest healthcare groups in the United States, CHS Corporation, announced that its subsidiary has reached a final agreement with the integrated laboratory services provider Labcorp. Labcorp will acquire specific non-inpatient laboratory service assets of CHS Medical Systems in 13 states, including some patient service centers and blood draw stations, for $195 million in cash. CHS stated that the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
