Acrylic futures and options are listed, completing the industry chain risk management "toolbox".

On July 22, acrylic futures and options were officially listed on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. Acrylic futures were listed at 9:00, while acrylic options were listed at 21:00. On the first day of listing, acrylic futures had 7 contracts including PL2601, PL2602, PL2603, PL2604, PL2605, PL2606, and PL2607. By the end of the day, the main contract PL2601 closed at 6613 yuan/ton, up 4.14% from the listing benchmark price; a total of 47,300 contracts were traded, with a turnover of 6.239 billion yuan, and the closing open interest was 9964 contracts. According to several futures companies, on the first day of listing of acrylic futures, there was enthusiastic trading from customers in the related industry chain. In the first collective competitive trading of acrylic futures, the industrial customer of the Ningbo branch of Guotai Junan Futures won the first transaction. Zhongxin Securities subsidiary Zhongxin Zhongzheng Capital conducted the first OTC acrylic options trading, with the counterparty being a large acrylic producer. By selling call options, it accurately matched the risk management of enterprise inventory and production revenue needs, helping the enterprise achieve operational cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
