Pakistan launches anti-dumping investigation into soda ash from Turkey and Kenya

On July 18, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan announced that, in response to applications from Pakistani producers, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on soda ash originating from or exported from Turkey and Kenya. The dumping investigation period is from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025. A preliminary ruling is expected to be made within 60-180 days from the date of filing.
