AWE2026 will be held in Shanghai in mid-March next year, featuring the first "Consumer Electronics Advanced Technology Exhibition Area".

Today, it was announced at the China Household Appliances and Consumer Electronics Expo launch event that AWE2026 with the theme of "AI Technology, Envisioning the Future" will be held in Shanghai from March 12-15, 2026. The exhibition will be the first to adopt a "dual-zone exhibition" format, with the addition of the "Shanghai Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation Zone Exhibition Area" alongside the Shanghai New International Expo Center exhibition area. The overall exhibition scale of AWE will reach 170,000 square meters, with an expected attendance of over 200,000 people. The business cooperation zone exhibition area will focus on "Advanced Consumer Electronics Technology," highlighting AI, chips and computing power technology, new generation information technology, new displays, robots, drones, new energy vehicles, and smart homes among other cutting-edge fields, showcasing the new productive forces in the consumer electronics sector in the AI era. The Shanghai Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation Zone is a new open platform approved by the State Council, and AWE2026 will be the first large-scale international exhibition held in the area after it begins operation.
