The passenger throughput of Baiyun Airport exceeded 40 million for the first time in six months.

On July 22, it was learned from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport that according to the airport's latest data, the airport's passenger throughput in the first half of this year exceeded 40 million for the first time. It is understood that in the first half of the year, Baiyun Airport's passenger and cargo transport achieved steady growth: a total of 266,000 flights were serviced, with a passenger throughput of 40.36 million, an increase of 7.0% and 9.2% respectively compared to the same period last year; the cargo and mail throughput was 1.169 million tons, an increase of 2.0% year-on-year. Among them, the performance of international and regional business was particularly outstanding, with a total of 58,000 flights and 8.189 million passengers, representing increases of 16.1% and 22.9% respectively compared to the same period last year, becoming the core engine driving growth.
