According to the China Securities Finance APP, on July 22nd, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange announced the data for bank foreign exchange settlements and sales, as well as foreign exchange receipts and payments on behalf of clients in June 2025. The statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange show that in June 2025, banks settled 1.49 trillion yuan and sold 1.3083 trillion yuan in foreign exchange. From January to June 2025, banks accumulated 82.135 trillion yuan in forex settlements and 83.95 trillion yuan in sales.
