Jinfeng Technology successfully launched a 16+ megawatt floating wind turbine in Wenzhou.

The 16+ megawatt floating unit developed by Goldwind Technology and manufactured in Wenzhou has officially come off the production line. The unit uses a fully integrated water cooling system, with the main beam of the blades made of carbon fiber material, reducing weight by 20%. All key components are 100% domestically produced, able to withstand a super typhoon of level 17 and operate stably in extreme temperatures as low as -20. The production of this unit marks a significant achievement in the industry's exploration of the conversion of floating wind power technology. At the same time, the industrial application of floating wind power still faces many challenges and bottlenecks, requiring collaborative efforts from the industry to address them.
