In the first half of 2025, GDP in Fujian province increased by 5.7% year-on-year.

On July 22, the Fujian Provincial Bureau of Statistics released data: According to the unified accounting result of regional gross domestic product, the region's GDP in the first half of the year was 2.799657 trillion yuan. Calculated at comparable prices, it increased by 5.7% year-on-year. Among them, the value added of the primary industry was 125.47 billion yuan, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year; the value added of the secondary industry was 1.188664 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.7%; and the value added of the tertiary industry was 1,485.523 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.0%. Overall, the province's economy operated steadily in the first half of the year and made steady progress.
