Kazakhstan's President signed and approved the treaty to deepen the alliance relationship with Hungary, with the goal of increasing bilateral trade to 3 billion US dollars by 2030.
Kazakhstan President Tokayev signed the "Approval" bill on July 21. According to Kazakh news agency reports on the 21st, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan signed the treaty in April 2024 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, agreeing to deepen and expand their alliance relationship. In May 2025, the Kazakhstan parliament reviewed and passed the relevant bill. The treaty covers many areas such as politics, military, economy, trade, security, and logistics, and will improve the regular interaction mechanism between the leaders, governments, and parliaments of the two countries, strengthen consultations and coordination on international and regional major issues. In addition, the two countries also plan to build a large transportation and logistics hub in the border areas by 2026, and increase bilateral trade to $3 billion by 2030.
