Following Shanghai Zhiyuan newly established technology Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Yushu Technology Co., Ltd. winning a big order of 120 million yuan, Shenzhen UBTECH Robotics Corp. recently won a bid for a 90.51 million yuan robot equipment procurement project, which is currently the largest single bid amount in the industry. Lu Hanchen, director of the Gao Gong Robot Industry Research Institute, told reporters that the automotive industry has a large market size, high degree of automation awareness, strong payment ability, and an urgent need for flexible operations in assembly and other processes, making it a priority landing scenario for humanoid robots. In the next 3 to 5 years, as the cost of humanoid robots decreases and debugging efficiency improves, their penetration rate in the automotive and heavy industries will continue to increase, potentially unleashing scale value.
